Pilgrim Community Ventures

What is Pilgrim Community Ventures?

Pilgrim Community Ventures is a nonprofit organization without share capital federally incorporated since October 12th 1993.

Pilgrim Community Ventures is a Christian organization.

Pilgrim Community Ventures was born in September of 1993, when a few members of a small, semi communal group, living in Ontario, were led of the Holy Spirit to found and incorporate themselves - not as an ecclesiastic group, not as a denomination, but as an organism to finance their missionary and charitable ministries.

Their identification as "pilgrim" comes from the words of the apostle Peter as he refers to believers in his first letter:

"Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims..." 1 Peter 2:11

The objectives of the organization are:

a)      To establish and maintain a religious and missionary community to preach, promote and advance the teachings of Jesus Christ and to practice the religious ordinances, tenets and doctrines associated with those teachings;

b)      To establish, maintain and conduct a school for religious and general education and for missionary training which applies those teachings;

c)      To establish and maintain one or more community homes dedicated to the advancement of the objects of the organization;

d)      To supply and render services of a charitable nature to poor and needy persons.
